I write Southern contemporary romance and my first book is set in the Mississippi Delta. Nothing says romance like the charm, tradition, and long, sultry nights of the Mississippi Delta. It has been written by many that the Mississippi Delta begins in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis and extends to Catfish Row in Vicksburg.*  That’s a lot of miles of flat, fertile farmland. With everything from cotton to catfish raised in the Delta, it’s no surprise as to the diversity of its inhabitants.
